Our 2026 Open competition schedule is as below. The club will be undergoing a change of software provider in the early new year so it will not be possible to book on-line until this is completed.

2026 Open Competition Diary

Friday May 1st - Seniors Open Am-Am
Over 55 years of age only
Team Am-Am Stableford 2 scores to count
£130 per team
Handicap Index limits 24 (Men), 30 (Ladies) - 85% handicap allowance
1 course meal & 2's competition included

Wednesday May 6th - Ladies Open Am-Am
Team Am-Am Stableford 2 scores to count
£70 per team
Handicap Index limit 36 (85% handicap allowance)
No more than 2 players per team from MGC

Sunday June 7th - Men's Open
Pairs 4BBB Medal
9am shotgun start - tees allocated on arrival
£30 per pair
Handicap Index Limit 18 (85% handicap allowance)
Presentation straight afterwards at 1.30pm approx.
Food available before and afterwards.

Sunday August 2nd - Mixed Open
Pairs 4BBB Stableford (1 Lady 1 Gent)
£65 per pair
Handicap Index limit 24 (Men), 30 (Ladies) - 85% handicap allowance
1 course meal & 2's competition included

Friday August 14th - Junior Open
Individual Strokeplay Medal
£6 per player
Handicap index limit 36 (Boys), 36 (Girls) - 95% handicap allowance
Gross, Nett & nearest pin prizes

Friday September 4th - Senior Men's Open
Over 55 years of age only
Pairs 4BBB Stableford
£65 per pair
Handicap index limit 24 (85% handicap allowance)
1 course meal & 2's competition included

Wednesday September 9th - Ladies Open Texas Scramble
Team Texas Scramble
£70 per team
Handicap Index limit 36 (Handicap allowance 25%/20%/15%/10% low to high CH)
