Welcome and how to find us

Welcome to Mickleover Golf Club

Visitors are very welcome to Mickleover Golf Club throughout the week and weekends, subject to availability. We would recommend that you contact our Professional shop (01332 518662) who can update you on tee availability and avoid possible disappointment. We assure you that you can look forward to a enjoyable round of golf.

After your game, relax in our comfortable lounge bar and enjoy a selection from our bar snack menu, or have a meal in our dining room. The meals are prepared and cooked on site by Gates Caterers (5 star rated by Food Standards Agency). You may also wish to sample our locally brewed beers, or mull over those inevitable 'missed putts' with some fine wine or a glass of spirits. Or maybe just have a cup of tea or coffee.

You can enjoy a game of snooker on our full size snooker table, set aside in it's own dedicated area of the Clubhouse lounge. At the same time, take in the panoramic views over the course and the Trent valley from the the elevated position of the Clubhouse lounge area.

And don't forget, we're less than three miles from Derby City centre. You'd never believe it !

If you intend to visit as a group and number 16 or more, then you should view our Societies web page where there are some great golf-on-the-go packages available.

We would ask that you familiarise yourselves with our Club Rules.

How to find us

Use the Clubhouse entrance driveway

If you're using SatNav you'll need to enter DE3 9AF to locate the entrance driveway.

Do not use the Clubhouse postcode (DE3 9AD) as you'll end up on the A38 Trunk Road dual carriageway, from which there is no course, Clubhouse or car park access.

Following yet more heavy rainfall this week the Course Committee have carried out an extensive inspection to assess the suitability of playing 18, 15 or 9 holes of golf and have concluded that conditions are currently not fit. With this in mind the course will remain closed in the short term and a further inspection is planned for Monday 22nd at 7.45am. It is hoped that once the weather eases up things will rapidly improve.
